Is Fat Loss 4 Idiots Better Eating A Grapefruit 3 times a day?

The grapefruit diet has been around since at least the 1930s, and has actually stood the test of time quite well. It is a short-term quick weight loss plan like many of the hot trend diets of today and the cleansing diets that are gaining popularity, and no one actually claims ownership of this diet. This is surprising, considering that most people simply want to do whatever it takes to get the best diet that they can with the least amount of work. Everyone wants a claim to fame, and something as effective as this diet remains unclaimed by anyone.

Regardless of whether it’s claimed or not, the grapefruit diet has traveled far based on word of mouth. The idea is that there is a ‘magical’ ingredient that triggers fat burning and promotes weight loss when combined with protein. However, the odds are much better that you’re losing weight because you’re eating grapefruit as a main source of nutrition, which is mostly liquid and very little substance. Either way, it promotes quick weight loss. Generally, the weight will come back as soon as you stop following the diet, which is a big downside unless you want to eat grapefruit for your entire life.

The grapefruit diet is a 12 day diet plan, where varieties of foods are consumed at all meals, including a half grapefruit or 8 ounces of grapefruit juice at every single meal. You can use all the condiments that you want, eat fried foods, and do whatever you want basically within the very loose guidelines. However, you can’t eat or drink anything that’s not on the diet, because that will ruin it.

The average calorie intake with this diet is between 800 and 1,000 calories, which is dangerously low. Doctors don’t recommend anything less than 1,200 calories unless you are under close medical supervision, so be careful if you do decide to try this diet.

There’s no real magic to the grapefruit diet, which you would see if you just looked at it. Grapefruit is high in fiber and low in sugar, and has very few calories. The diet you consume is less than 1,000 calories, which would cause anyone to lose weight, no matter what they were eating. Nonetheless, people go on embarking on the grapefruit program like it’s a magic cure for quick and easy weight loss. It can be useful for short-term weight loss needs, but isn’t going to give you a new lifestyle or way of eating healthy.

A much healthier and more comprehensive diet that will teach you the 1o easy rules of fat loss is known as Fat Loss 4 Idiots. If you want to lose weight and get rid of fat it may help you to know some of the myths behind so-called diet foods.
