The Gabriel Method
The Gabriel Method is a diet plan developed by one Jon Gabriel, who struggled with obesity and weight loss for many years. He tried all of the low-fat diets, the Atkins diet, and others trying to figure out what he could do. He even went as far as to consult doctors, personal trainers, and even acupuncturists and nothing worked. Finally, once he learned that the problem was not the weight loss, but the root of his being, he started to lose weight and ended losing 225 pounds by addressing the mental and emotional stress in his life, and not just the diet he was consuming.
The Gabriel Method is based on biochemistry and the fact that the body has an internal logic that determines what you will weigh. When your body has the desire to be thin, you will lose weight with ease. You will crave healthy foods, eat less junk, and your metabolism will increase on its own.
When you diet and eat less calories, according to this method developed by Jon, the body thinks that something is wrong and goes into starvation mode, slowing metabolism to preserve body fat for energy, and stalling your weight loss. You need to also understand, according to this plan, that stress of the mental and emotional variety can greatly impact the way that your body feels. If you are in mental starvation mode, your body will reflect this by holding weight.
When you get your mind right in accordance with what your body is doing and you truly want to lose weight, then you will start losing weight.
