Anabolic DietThe Anabolic Diet is a diet that is focused on muscle building and fat burning. The diet was developed by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale as an alternative to the use of drugs and steroids because he wanted to give people the same results without the risks associated with steroid use. The diet works by manipulating the hormones in your body that are responsible for building muscle.

The key to this diet is the right combination of foods at the right times. It’s not an easy diet by any means, but it can work for some people if it is done properly and taken seriously. There are other diets such as the FBF Diet Plan that also focuses on eating the right foods at the right time of day, but this diet we review here focuses more on muscle building than it does weight loss.

The Anabolic Diet is a high protein, high fat diet. That’s right: high fat. Most diets focus on less fat, but in order to manipulate your hormones correctly, you need the high fat content in your diet according to Dr Di Pasquale. It involves carb cycling, or keeping your body guessing about what’s coming next. Fat loss comes from avoiding carbs for five days and your body won’t store as much fat because you’re eating lots of it. Muscle gain can come from fatty red meat that can give you all of the protein that you need. While most diets tell you to stay away from fatty foods, Dr Di Pasquale claims it necessary if you’re building muscle and you want the results of steroids without the side effects or legal problems.

The Anabolic Diet also gives you lower cholesterol and less plaque buildup, among a myriad of other health improvements. It gives you more energy because you’re controlling your carb intake, and you won’t be as moody or tired as you normally are. Fat makes you feel full, so you won’t be hungry on this diet. You probably will have to remind yourself to eat, according to the program.

The Anabolic Diet can work for anyone of any age, no matter what. It’s best done when it is combined with strength training and other exercise, like most diets are. Also, the things that you eat are critical. On the weekdays, you’ll eat a lot of protein, fat, veggies, and other foods in these categories. On the weekends, you load up on carbs and lower the amount of protein and fat you’re eating.

You continue the diet until you have achieved the results that you want, and then transition back to a normal, healthy diet. The cycling can be tricky, sports are kind of out of the question, and weight gain isn’t really effective with this diet. Other than that, it can be an effective choice for people who want optimal muscle building effects.

If you are more interested losing weight than gaining muscle, we suggest you try the FBF weight loss diet.
