The creator of the Zone Diet is now offering his best Dr Sears weight loss tips and after reading these tips you will be wondering, how easy is that? Really, these things are not all that complicated. If you just follow some basic principles you can lose weight. One of those principles is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables because they are the most nutritious foods in existence. Your body needs fuel, not junk. If you feed it quality fuel, then you will more than likely attain your proper weight and be healthy.

But on to Dr Sears weight loss tips:

Don’t use vegetable oils – You should use olive oil instead. In fact, Dr Sears says that using butter is actually better than using vegetable oils because it is lower in omega-6 fatty acids.

Eat plenty of vegetables – Dr Sears says that Mediterranean vegetables are god because they lower excess insulin production but, any and all vegetables are great because they are bursting with nutrition.

Eat fewer refined carbohydrates – News alert, refined carbohydrates such as white flour and white sugar basically have no nutrition, so why would you eat so much of them. If you love bread, then eat whole grain breads.

Balance your plate – eat a well balanced diet consisting of low fat proteins, non-starchy carbohydrates such as vegetables and fruits and a small amount of oils such as olive oil or guacamole.

Drink lots of water – This one is a no brainer. Your body needs to be hydrated to function properly and to flush out toxins on a frequent basis. Everyone talks about this because it is so important. Don’t skip drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

Get a good night’s sleep – Your body heals and replenishes itself at night and if you don’t sleep well, your body can’t do the job it was designed to do.

See I told you these things were simple. Follow them as Dr Sears suggests and your weight loss efforts will be all the more easier.
